Done Growed Up’s Ginny Mackey Hopes Kids Keep in Mind
When the Mackey children remember their childhood, Ginny hopes they remember that she gave it her all. Maybe it wasn’t much, but it was all she had. She drank too much. She failed numerous times. Hardly ever getting it right. IN the world she in which she grew up manners were important, very important. She drilled manners because that she knew. She left kindness, love, compassion and honesty to Ethel to teach, thank goodness. She had to learn from her many mistakes. She did love them enough to keep going, even when things seemed hopeless, even when life knocked her down and then kicked her when she was down. She wants Stuart, Gordy, Sallee, and Helen to remember her as the Woman who got back up.
